Jack Moriarty

Jack Moriarty is the executive director of Lafayette Square Institute, a nonprofit organization focused on advancing economic mobility for American workers and families through data analytics and public policy innovation. Moriarty was the founding executive director of Ownership America, where he led policy initiatives at federal and state levels to expand wealth-building opportunities. He served as lead architect of the bipartisan Employee Equity Investment Act, advising members of Congress and the White House, and contributed to legislative efforts in states including Massachusetts, Washington, California, and New Jersey.

Moriarty's experience includes strategic roles in healthcare delivery and technology companies such as Iora Health, Buoy Health, and Allscripts. His public service includes work with AmeriCorps on environmental infrastructure and an appointment to the Massachusetts Baby Bonds Task Force. Moriarty serves as assistant director for policy analysis at the Rutgers Institute for the Study of Employee Ownership and Profit Sharing and is a member of the Experts’ Board of the Institute for Economic Democracy in Slovenia, supporting the development of employee ownership structures in the European Union.

A graduate of the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and Boston University, Moriarty has been recognized as a Roy H. Park Leadership Fellow and named an MBA to Watch by Poets & Quants. His career highlights bipartisan collaboration and policy design in economic opportunity, employee ownership, and wealth creation for working Americans.
