Ida Tin

Ida Tin is the co-founder and former CEO and chairwoman, of Clue, the most trusted female health app. Clue has more than ten million active users in over 190 countries and recognized as of the pioneers in Femtech.

Tin coined the term Femtech in 2016, a new sector in technology set to be worth over a trillion dollars by 2027. She is now working on a new book about Femtech and is an active voice in the Femtech ecosystem and is currently founding the think tank Femtech Assembly exploring the link between investing in women’s health, economic growth and planetary regeneration.

The past three years Tin has been invited as a keynote speaker at events such as South Summit in Madrid, Tokyo HiTech Sushi, World Economic Summit, Giant Ideas at Tate Modern in London and many others in Australia, Africa and the US.

Before starting Clue, Tin led motorcycle tours around the world for five years in the motorcycle touring company MotoMundo she cofounded with her dad Hjalte Tin. She guided tours in Mongolia, Cuba and Vietnam amongst many other destinations.

For two years she traveled solo in the western parts of the US on her motorcycle and wrote a book about her travel adventures, inner and outer, “Directress”, published in Denmark in 2009.

As a child Tin grew up travelling the world on motorcycles with her parents and older brother from when she was a one-year-old baby sitting in front of her mother on the motorcycle through South America, the former Soviet Union, Africa and Southeast Asia.

Tin attended various art schools in South Africa, Denmark and London, and graduated in 2004 from the progressive social entrepreneurship BA level business school The KaosPilots in Denmark.

Tin currently lives in Berlin with her American partner and has two children from a previous relationship.
