Ian Munsick

Ian Munsick is a country music singer-songwriter known for his modern Western sound, vivid storytelling, and strong connection to the landscapes and culture of the American West. Born and raised in Sheridan, Wyoming, Munsick grew up in a musical family—his father and brothers are also musicians—which deeply influenced his artistic development and passion for songwriting.

Munsick attended Belmont University in Nashville, where he further refined his craft and immersed himself in the country music scene. After graduating, he began building a reputation as a compelling performer and songwriter, eventually signing a major record deal that helped launch his national career.

He gained widespread attention with his 2021 debut album Coyote Cry, which showcased his signature blend of traditional country, folk, and contemporary production. The project included standout tracks such as “Long Live Cowgirls,” “Horses Are Faster,” and the title track “Coyote Cry,” all of which highlight his vivid lyrical imagery and Western-inspired themes.

His follow-up work, including the album White Buffalo, further established Munsick as a distinctive voice in country music, often referred to as a “modern Western” artist.
