Iain Stirling

Iain Stirling is a Scottish comedian, writer, television presenter, and narrator known for his work in British entertainment. Stirling began his stand-up comedy career while studying law at the University of Edinburgh, becoming a finalist in both the Paramount Funniest Student and Chortle Student Comedian of the Year competitions. After graduating, he transitioned into television, taking on a presenting role at CBBC and later co-writing and hosting six series of the comedy panel show "The Dog Ate My Homework." His work on the show earned him a Children's BAFTA Award for Best Presenter and the RTS Scotland On Screen Personality of the Year award.

Stirling gained widespread recognition as the narrator of ITV2's "Love Island," where his comedic narration became a defining element of the reality TV series. He also narrates "Love Island USA" on Peacock, contributing to the show's popularity in the United States. His narration on "Love Island" earned him a nomination for Best Entertainment Performance at the National Television Awards.

In addition to his narration work, Stirling wrote, created, and starred in the ITV2 sitcom "Buffering," a semi-autobiographical comedy.
