Houston Nutt

Houston Nutt, a former football player and coach, began his broadcasting career with CBS Sports Network as a college football studio analyst. Before his transition to broadcasting, Nutt spent 19 seasons as a college football coach, compiling a cumulative record of 135-96. His coaching experience includes positions at Murray State, Boise State, University of Arkansas, and University of Mississippi.

During his tenure at Arkansas, Nutt led the Razorbacks to seven bowl games and three Southeastern Conference Western Division titles, averaging more than seven wins per season. Nutt received recognition as National Coach of the Year and The Football News Division 1-A Coach of the Year. He was also named SEC Coach of the Year three times. As head coach for the Ole Miss Rebels, Nutt guided the team to consecutive Cotton Bowl victories.

Earlier in his career, Nutt began his collegiate head coaching tenure at Murray State University, leading the Racers to an 11-1 record and earning Ohio Valley Conference Coach of the Year and the Eddie Robinson National Division I-AA Coach of the Year Award. He then served as head coach at Boise State University for one season, marking the team's first year as a member of NCAA Division 1-A.

As a player, Nutt started his collegiate football career at University of Arkansas before transferring to Oklahoma State University, where he played quarterback and was a member of the basketball team. Nutt earned a bachelor's degree in physical education from Oklahoma State.
