Hezly Rivera

Hezly Rivera is an artistic gymnast recognized for her achievements in U.S. gymnastics. Rivera trains at World Olympic Gymnastics Academy under head coach Valeri Liukin and was a member of the gold medal-winning team at the Olympic Games in Paris, where she was the youngest athlete on Team USA across all sports. Although she did not participate in the finals, Rivera earned a gold medal with the U.S. women's gymnastics team.

Rivera debuted as a senior elite gymnast and established herself on the U.S. national gymnastics team, demonstrating strength across all four gymnastics apparatuses, with notable performances in vault and floor exercise. She has secured medals in major competitions, including a third-place all-around finish at the Winter Cup, gold at the DTB Pokal Team Challenge, and a bronze on floor at the National Championships. Rivera has also captured titles in the all-around, beam, and floor at the Winter Cup and contributed to Team USA's silver at the Junior World Championships. She earned silver medals at the Junior World Championships in Antalya in both the team event and floor exercise.

Rivera continued her success as a senior, winning the all-around title and three event titles at the U.S. National Championships. At the Pan American Championships, she won a gold medal in the team event and bronze medals in the all-around and balance beam events. Rivera secured her second consecutive national title with a two-day total of 111.950 at the U.S. Championships, becoming the first American woman other than Simone Biles to win back-to-back all-around titles since Jordyn Wieber. At age 18, she rallied from fourth place to secure the victory, joining a group of athletes with consecutive all-around wins. Rivera has committed to Louisiana State University for her collegiate gymnastics career.
