Heather O'Reilly

Heather O’Reilly is a three-time Olympic gold medalist, World Cup champion, and NWSL champion. She oversees the Women’s sector of the Como1907 club including first team, academy, and PR and marketing with the view of continual growth, promotion, and awareness in Italian football.

Displaying one of the best work rates in the world, she began thundering up and down the right flank for the U.S. team in 2002 when she was only 17. O’Reilly holds the record for the most consecutive games played on the national team at 74, where she started 67 of those 74 matches. Long known for her speed and endurance, O’Reilly became a fan favorite over the years for her competitive drive on the field and humorous nature off the pitch. She finished her pro playing career as one of only four three-time women’s soccer Olympic gold medalists.

O’Reilly played overseas with the Shelbourne Football Club, winners of the Irish League title, in 2022 and worked as an analyst for Fox Sports and the BBC. She also coached women’s soccer at the University of North Carolina, her alma mater. A mom to two boys, she is also involved in several organizations: Right to Play, Athlete Ally, and America Scores. She founded the Heather O’Reilly Soccer Academy, which leads various soccer skills clinics around the country, and oversees the development of Como1907, a professional women's football club.
