Greg Jackson

Dr. Greg Jackson is a historian, educator, and storyteller who has developed one of the most widely recognized history platforms in the United States. Jackson is the creator, host, and head writer of the U.S. history podcast "History That Doesn't Suck," a program downloaded more than 50 million times and consistently ranked among the top 10 history podcasts on Apple and Spotify. He launched the podcast with the goal of making rigorous, narrative-driven American history accessible to audiences beyond the classroom, addressing a lack of podcasts produced by professional historians and providing a credible source for learning about U.S. history. Each episode of the podcast requires more than 50 hours of research, writing, and recording, reflecting Jackson's commitment to accuracy and depth.

Jackson is an associate professor at Utah Valley University, where he serves as the America 250 Professor in the Center for Constitutional Studies and is a senior fellow in the Center for National Security Studies. He holds a doctorate in history from the University of Utah.
