Greg Caplan Biography
Greg Caplan is the founder and CEO of Spot Meetings as well as the founder and former CEO of Remote Year, a program that helps people travel the world while working remotely. The idea for Remote Year came to Caplan after finding it difficult to travel with friends whose work schedules didn't allow for the ability to travel freely.
Since May 2020, Caplan has served as the interim Chief Marketing Officer for Cameo. Prior to starting Remote Year, Caplan founded the fashion company, oBaz, which was eventually acquired by Groupon, where Caplan worked until 2014.
Caplan holds a bachelor's of business administration from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
