Glyn Jones

Glyn Jones is a senior partner at EHS Partnerships Ltd. and an expert in occupational health, safety, and industrial hygiene, with more than three decades of consulting experience.

His career includes work in heavy industry, manufacturing, commercial buildings, institutional settings, and government sectors across Canada and internationally. Jones holds an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering and a master's in occupational health and safety. He is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Registered Occupational Hygienist (ROH), and Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP).

Jones contributes to professional education and thought leadership in occupational health and safety. He instructs university courses at institutions including University of Alberta, University of Calgary, University of New Brunswick, and Mount Royal University, and provides curriculum oversight for occupational health and safety programs. As a writer, he authors columns for Canadian Occupational Safety magazine and other industry publications, and is frequently invited to deliver keynote addresses and technical sessions at major safety conferences. His expertise includes safety management system development, regulatory compliance, hazardous materials assessment, risk analysis, and incident investigation.

Jones is a recipient of the Work Safe Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Individual Achievement Award. He has held executive roles in the American Industrial Hygiene Association and the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering, where he developed leadership and mentoring programs to support emerging professionals. Jones’s public speaking, educational activities, and ongoing involvement in professional associations demonstrate his commitment to advancing occupational health and safety standards.
