Gerrity Lansing

Gerrity Lansing is a managing director, partner, and head of global alternatives at BTG Pactual, where he oversees the firm's alternatives platform, including the Timberland Investment Group and international private markets. BTG Pactual's global alternatives business manages approximately $10 billion in assets, with a focus on sustainable forestry and asset-oriented investments. Lansing has played a key role in expanding BTG Pactual's presence across the United States and Latin America, with the Timberland Investment Group managing millions of acres and delivering value to investors.

Before joining BTG Pactual, Lansing was the founder and CEO of Equator, LLC and its Brazilian subsidiary, TTG Brasil Investimentos Florestais Ltda, both acquired by BTG Pactual. He also served as CEO of Madison Trading, LLC and Chatham Energy Partners, LLC, the latter of which was acquired by The Intercontinental Exchange. Lansing's career includes building and scaling investment platforms in the natural resources and alternatives sectors.

Lansing is active in thought leadership and public speaking, appearing at industry conferences such as the Milken Institute Global Conference. He serves on several boards, including the Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University, the Buckley School in New York City, the National Alliance of Forest Owners, and La Fundación de la Universidad del Valle de Guatemala. Lansing is a graduate of Duke University and is recognized for his expertise in global alternatives and sustainable investment.
