Genein Letford

Genein Letford, M.Ed., is a thought leader, educator, and bestselling author known for her work at the intersection of creative thinking, cultural competence, and brain health. Recognized as the LA Lakers Business Woman of the Year and California Charter Teacher of the Year, Letford is the creator of Prismatic Leadership, Intercultural Creativity, and NeuroSomatic Creativity. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from UCLA and a Master of Arts in curriculum and instruction from California State University–Northridge. Her academic background, combined with extensive experience in education and the creative arts, positions Letford as a prominent voice in workforce innovation and inclusive leadership.

Letford began her career as a music director at a charter school, where she developed an arts program that integrated creative thinking strategies—such as sensory awareness, metaphorical analysis, and heightened observation—into core academic subjects. She is the founder and chief creative officer of CAFFE Strategies, a consulting, coaching, and training company that works with C-suite executives and employees to develop sustainable organizational equity and inclusion strategies while fostering innovative thinking. Letford is certified to administer the IDI assessments on intercultural competency, a leading tool for evaluating an employee's ability to observe, adapt, and bridge across cultures. Her concept, Intercultural Creativity, is based on the idea that creativity involves problem finding and solving with relevance, value, and novelty, and that effective creativity in today's workforce requires collaboration across diverse backgrounds and experiences.
