Gary Striewski

Gary Striewski is a sports broadcaster known for his role as an anchor on ESPN's flagship program, "SportsCenter." Striewski anchors "SportsCenter:AM," the 7 a.m. ET edition of ESPN's news and information program. He graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver with a bachelor's degree in journalism, providing the academic foundation for his career in sports media.

Before joining ESPN, Striewski worked in local and regional sports broadcasting. His first television position was as a weekend sportscaster at CBS-affiliate KGWN in Cheyenne, Wyoming, before becoming a sports director. He also served as a sports reporter and anchor for KPRC in Houston, Texas, and as a sports anchor for CBS Northern Colorado 5. Striewski worked as a sideline anchor for Boston Red Sox coverage on New England Sports Network and co-hosted the children's program "NESN Clubhouse."
