Gary Salman

Gary Salman is the chief executive officer and co-founder of Black Talon Security, a Katonah, New York-based cybersecurity firm specializing in comprehensive security solutions for small and medium-sized businesses, with a focus on the healthcare and dental sectors. With more than three decades of experience in cybersecurity, law enforcement, and healthcare technology, Salman has developed expertise in protecting sensitive data and managing risk in these industries. He earned a business administration degree from Muhlenberg College and has leveraged his background to build a company that monitors and secures approximately 55,000 computers and networks worldwide, while providing cybersecurity training to tens of thousands of dental and healthcare professionals.

Salman's career includes the sale of his first technology business to a publicly traded company before age 30. His professional experience also includes more than 15 years as an instructor at West Point, where he contributed to military education and law enforcement training. Salman has over 30 years of experience in software development and computer IT, including involvement in developing one of the first cloud-based healthcare systems.
