Fred Bohasu

Fred Bohasu is a distinguished speaker renowned for his impactful presentations to corporate entities, professional sports teams, government agencies, educational institutions, and various organizations. With over two decades of experience, Bohasu has inspired and trained more than 100,000 individuals across the globe. As a world-class team builder, author, and social entrepreneur, Bohasu is the founder of Bunang Baswa, a nonprofit organization established in 2005. This initiative has empowered and equipped young people and inmates across South Africa, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea, Tanzania, and Uganda. Through its outreach programs, Bunang Baswa has directly impacted tens of thousands of youth and inmates, fostering the next generation of responsible leaders by providing educational enrichment, mentoring, and life transformation skills.

In addition, Bohasu founded Impact Team Building, one of Africa's most successful team-building firms, which has expanded its footprint to over five countries. Since its inception in 2008, the organization has inspired and empowered more than 50,000 individuals.

Bohasu is also the founder of Impact Boys Camp, an annual program that mentors and trains hundreds of teenage boys, guiding them to become beacons of hope and leadership in their communities.

Bohasu has been widely recognized for his leadership and impact, earning numerous awards and honors. He received the SA Man of the Year Award from the SA Man Awards and was a finalist for the Eduweek Awards, the largest education awards in Africa. In August 2017, he was named South Africa’s Lead SA Hero of the Month, and Humanity Team International recognized him as the Most Influential Youth Leader in South Africa. He was also included in Avance Media’s list of the 100 Most Influential Young Africans and appointed as a Global Peace Ambassador alongside Professor Patrick Lumumba.
