Fr. Donald Calloway

Father Donald Calloway, MIC, is an American Catholic priest, Emmy Award-winning speaker, and author known for his work in Marian theology and Catholic evangelization. A convert to Catholicism, Calloway is a member of the Congregation of Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception. Before his conversion, he experienced significant personal challenges, including dropping out of high school, being expelled from a foreign country, institutionalization, and multiple incarcerations. At age 20, reading a book about Marian apparitions marked a turning point in his life. He was ordained at the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.

Calloway holds a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Master of Divinity and Bachelor of Sacred Theology degrees from Dominican House of Studies in Washington, D.C., and a Licentiate in Sacred Theology in Mariology from the International Marian Research Institute in Dayton, Ohio. He serves as Vicar Provincial and Vocations Director for the Marian Fathers. His expertise in Mariology and his personal conversion story have contributed to his reputation within Catholic theology and spiritual formation.

Calloway is the author of 17 books, including "No Turning Back: A Witness to Mercy," "Under the Mantle: Marian Thoughts from a 21st Century Priest," "Champions of the Rosary: The History and Heroes of a Spiritual Weapon," and "Consecration to St. Joseph: The Wonders of Our Spiritual Father." The latter has sold more than 2 million copies and has been translated into over 28 languages. He has also edited volumes on Marian themes, such as "The Immaculate Conception in the Life of the Church."

Calloway received an Emmy Award for "Outstanding Achievement for Interview/Discussion Programming" at the Chicago Midwest Emmy Awards for the interview "Poster Child of Divine Mercy: The Testimony of Fr. Donald Calloway," produced by Spirit Juice Studios as part of the documentary film "The Face of Mercy." His conversion story and focus on Marian devotion have made him a prominent figure in Catholic conferences and spiritual retreats.

Calloway is a frequent speaker on Divine Mercy, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and St. Joseph, sharing his conversion story and insights on Catholic spirituality. He leads pilgrimages to holy sites worldwide, including Mexico City, Ireland, Poland, the Holy Land, and Rome. Through his books, speaking engagements, and pilgrimages, Calloway continues to contribute to Catholic evangelization, Marian devotion, and spiritual formation.
