Forrest Frank

Forrest Frank is an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer known for his innovative approach to Christian music. Frank initially gained recognition as one-half of Surfaces, a surf-pop duo that reached a wide audience with its upbeat sound. Influenced by his mother, a Christian worship leader, Frank pursued business studies at Baylor University before relocating to Seattle, where he connected with Colin Padalecki. This partnership led to the formation of Surfaces and set the foundation for Frank's solo career in contemporary Christian music.

After focusing on Surfaces, Frank returned to solo work, developing a sound that blends pop, R&B, worship, hip-hop, and rock. His early solo Christian releases, including the collaborative single "No Longer Bound" with rapper Hulvey, earned a nomination at the GMA Dove Awards for Rap/Hip-Hop Recorded Song of the Year.

Frank's studio album "Child of God" sold 22,000 copies in its first week and held the top position on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart for 35 non-consecutive weeks. The album's lead single, "Good Day," received GMA Dove Awards for New Artist of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year. "Child of God" also earned Frank a GRAMMY nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album. Frank completed a sold-out North American headline tour in support of the album.

Frank's subsequent album, "Child of God II," debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard 200 and set a record for the most weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. The single "Your Way's Better" achieved RIAA Gold certification, reached No. 1 on Hot Christian Songs, appeared on the Billboard Hot 100, and became one of the most searched songs via Google's hum-to-search feature. Frank received multiple GMA Dove Awards, including Artist of the Year, and two GRAMMY nominations for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song and Best Contemporary Christian Music Album. During this period, Frank publicly shared his recovery from multiple back fractures sustained in a skateboarding accident, an experience that influenced his faith-driven songwriting.

With billions of global streams and a growing audience, Frank continues to shape the landscape of modern Christian music. He formed the CCM duo Party Wave with Noah Hayden, debuting with the single "SOS" and the album "Dawn Patrol." Frank also launched the Jesus Generation Tour, featuring supporting acts Tori Kelly and Cory Asbury, which sold nearly 500,000 tickets at the time of its announcement. Frank's collaborations include work with tobyMac and Thomas Rhett, further establishing his presence in the contemporary Christian music industry.
