Stacy Ann Ferguson, known professionally as Fergie, is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and businesswoman whose career spans four decades across the music, entertainment, and fashion industries. As a child, Ferguson appeared on the children's television series "Kids Incorporated" and voiced Sally Brown in two Peanuts television specials and in "The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show." She later co-founded the girl group Wild Orchid, performing on two of the group's albums. After completing a third album that was not released by the record label, Ferguson faced personal challenges, including a struggle with methamphetamine addiction. Through counseling and therapy, she addressed the underlying causes of her addiction and began her recovery.

Ferguson gained international recognition as a member of Black Eyed Peas, contributing to the group's commercial success in pop, hip-hop, and R&B. Her first album with the group, "Elephunk," produced several hit singles, including "Where Is The Love?" and "Hey Mama." The group earned a Grammy Award for best rap performance by a duo or group for "Let's Get It Started." Subsequent albums, including "Monkey Business," "The E.N.D.," and "The Beginning," achieved high chart positions and produced hits such as "Boom Boom Pow," "I Gotta Feeling," "Imma Be," and "The Time (Dirty Bit)."

Ferguson's solo career includes the album "The Dutchess," which produced three Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles: "London Bridge," "Glamorous," and "Big Girls Don't Cry." With this album, Ferguson became the first singer to have five singles from a debut album reach the top five of the Billboard Hot 100 since Milli Vanilli. "The Dutchess" explores a range of music genres, including pop, hip-hop, R&B, reggae, punk rock, and soul, and addresses themes such as love, criticism, and personal struggles with addiction.

Ferguson released a second studio album, "Double Dutchess," featuring collaborations with Nicki Minaj, YG, and Rick Ross. The accompanying visual album, "Double Dutchess: Seeing Double," directed by Jonas Åkerlund, addresses her experiences with addiction and recovery. Ferguson has spoken publicly about her recovery journey in interviews and on television.

An eight-time Grammy Award winner, Ferguson has expanded her career into fashion design, acting, beauty, and philanthropy.
