Felix Brooks-church

Felix Brooks-church has dedicated his career to ending hidden hunger for women and children. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of Sanku, a social enterprise working across East Africa to make fortified foods accessible and affordable for millions of people.

Since officially launching Sanku in Tanzania in 2015, Brooks-church has helped build one of the world's largest last-mile food fortification platforms. Today, Sanku partners with more than 1,700 flour millers and helps provide access to fortified flour for over 73 million people daily, with a goal of reaching 100 million people by 2028 and one billion people over the next decade.

Originally trained as a graphic designer and product developer, Brooks-church first encountered the devastating effects of malnutrition while volunteering with street children in Cambodia in 2007. Frustrated by the lack of scalable solutions, he went on to design Sanku's award-winning Dosifier technology and pioneer a market-based model that enables fortification in some of the world's most remote and underserved communities.

Under his leadership, Sanku has been recognized as one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies, a GiveWell Standout Charity, a The Life You Can Save Top Charity, and a recipient of the Zayed Sustainability Prize, Elevate Prize, Lipman Family Prize, Seeding The Future Grand Prize, and the Rolex Awards for Enterprise. In 2019, TIME named the Sanku Dosifier one of its Inventions of the Year, and in 2026, TIME named Sanku one of the world's 10 Most Influential Social Good Companies.

Born in Ibiza, Spain, Brooks-church holds a BA in Geology from Oberlin College and is both a Mulago Fellow and Rolex Laureate.
