Erica Komisar

Erica Komisar is a licensed clinical social worker, psychoanalyst, and parent coach with extensive experience in child development, mental health, and family dynamics. With three decades in private practice, Komisar provides psychological consultation and leads parenting and work-life workshops in clinics, schools, corporations, and childcare settings, including The Garden House School and Goldman Sachs. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and compulsive behaviors, and assists parents in addressing the emotional demands of raising healthy, resilient children.

Komisar is the author of two books that have contributed to national discussions on parenting and child psychology.
