Eric Paslay is a Grammy-nominated country singer-songwriter who has built a formidable career both behind the scenes and in the spotlight. After signing with EMI Nashville in 2011, he scored his first Top 5 hit as an artist with “Friday Night” from his self-titled 2014 debut album, followed by charting singles like “Song About a Girl” and “She Don’t Love You." But Paslay’s impact runs deeper: he’s penned five No. 1 hits for other artists, including “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” (Jake Owen), “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” (Eli Young Band), “Angel Eyes” (Love & Theft), “Rewind” (Rascal Flatts), and Keith Urban’s “Wild Hearts." He also co-wrote Charles Kelley’s “The Driver,” earning him a 2016 Grammy nomination for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.
With his 2020 album Nice Guy and reimagined collection Even If It Breaks Your Barefoot Friday Night, Paslay continues to evolve as an independent artist.
