Eric Decker Biography
Eric Decker is a former National Football League (NFL) wide receiver, entrepreneur, television personality, and philanthropist. A standout multi-sport athlete from Minnesota, he starred at the University of Minnesota, where he became one of the most accomplished players in Golden Gophers football history, setting school records in receptions and receiving yards while also playing baseball.
Selected by the Denver Broncos in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft, Decker went on to play eight seasons in the NFL with the Broncos, New York Jets, Tennessee Titans, and briefly the New England Patriots. He recorded two 1,000-yard receiving seasons, including a career-best 1,288 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2013, and helped lead Denver to Super Bowl XLVIII. He finished his career with 439 receptions, 5,816 receiving yards, and 54 touchdowns.
Off the field, Decker gained wider recognition through the E! reality series "Eric & Jessie: Game On" alongside his wife, country singer Jessie James Decker. Since retiring from football, he has focused on business ventures and philanthropy, co-founding the fashion brands Kittenish and Decked Out while supporting causes related to children’s health, military families, and cancer research.
