Emerson Spartz

Emerson Spartz is an American entrepreneur and digital media innovator known for his expertise in internet virality and online audience behavior. Dubbed “The Virologist” by The New Yorker, he is widely regarded as one of the leading voices studying why content spreads across the internet. His work has been featured in major media outlets including CBS, CNBC, and CNN, and he has been named to the “30 Under 30” lists by both Forbes and Inc. magazine.

Spartz first gained attention as a young entrepreneur when, at age 12, he founded MuggleNet, which became the world’s largest fan community dedicated to the Harry Potter franchise. While still a teenager, he authored “What Will Happen in Harry Potter 7: Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Falls in Love and How the Series Finally Ends,” which became a bestseller on The New York Times list.
