Drea Okeke

Drea Okeke, known online as @DreaKnowsBest, is a Nigerian-American content creator, entertainer, comedian, storyteller, professional speaker, consultant, and host recognized for comedic skits and videos that highlight Nigerian culture. Okeke began her digital career as an undergraduate at Penn State University, sharing six-second videos impersonating her Nigerian mother on Vine, where she quickly gained nearly 1 million followers. After Vine shut down, Okeke approached content creation analytically, applying an engineering mindset to adapt her strategy and transition to TikTok, a platform well-suited to her short-form content style.

Following graduation, Okeke initially pursued a career in engineering before shifting her focus to content creation. She relocated to Los Angeles and earned a master's degree in media strategy, entrepreneurship, and innovation at the University of Southern California. Okeke engages more than 6.3 million followers on TikTok, sharing messaging focused on self-improvement and cultural pride.
