Dr. Tracy Brower

Tracy Brower, PhD, is a sociologist specializing in workplace culture, human fulfillment, and the future of work. Brower holds a doctorate in sociology, a master of management in organizational culture, and a master of corporate real estate with a workplace specialization. Her academic background informs her approach to understanding how individuals experience their professional environments. With more than 25 years of experience, Brower has worked with global organizations to connect academic research with practical business outcomes.

Brower is the author of three books: "Critical Connections," "The Secrets to Happiness at Work," and "Bring Work to Life." "The Secrets to Happiness at Work" examines how individuals can cultivate joy and fulfillment in their professional and personal lives, while "Bring Work to Life by Bringing Life to Work" provides perspectives on work-life balance. "Critical Connections" addresses the issue of disconnection in modern workplaces, offering research-based strategies for building meaningful relationships and community. Her publications have been translated into 25 languages.

As vice president of workplace insights at Steelcase, Brower applies research to inform the design of workplace environments that support employee satisfaction and productivity. She previously served as global vice president of workplace vitality for Mars Drinks and as director of human dynamics and work for Herman Miller.
