Dr. Tedd Tripp

Dr. Tedd Tripp is a pastor, author, and conference speaker recognized for his work in biblical parenting and Christian family counseling. Tripp holds a Bachelor of Arts in history from Geneva College, a Master of Divinity from Philadelphia Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry with an emphasis in pastoral counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. He serves as president of Shepherding the Heart Ministries, an organization focused on the role of the heart in shaping behavior and spiritual development.

Tripp is widely known for the book "Shepherding a Child's Heart" and as the presenter of Shepherding a Child's Heart Ministries. The book is frequently referenced in Christian parenting courses and is used by families and educators seeking guidance on faith-based parenting. In the revised edition of "Shepherding a Child's Heart," Tripp draws on his experience as a pastor, counselor, school administrator, and father, sharing insights from years of teaching at conferences internationally. He is also the author of "A Parent's Handbook for Shepherding a Child's Heart" and "Hints for Parents," and co-author, with his wife Margy, of "Instructing a Child's Heart."

Tripp is Pastor Emeritus of Grace Fellowship Church in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, where he served for more than three decades. He has also worked as a counselor for the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation and, with his wife, founded Immanuel Christian School, where he served as teacher and principal.
