Dr. Staten Medsker, Jr.

Dr. Staten C. Medsker Jr., known professionally as RocknDoc, is a chiropractic physician, author, musician, and wellness innovator recognized for his contributions to integrative health. Medsker holds a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College West in San Francisco and completed postgraduate studies in the Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician program in Seattle, where he also became a licensed massage therapist. His expertise as a personal trainer includes Certified Strength and Conditioning and Reebok's Neuromuscular Training. Medsker is also an instructor of Hatha Yoga and a certified lead flexologist for StretchLAB.

Medsker has provided chiropractic and wellness services to more than 600 celebrities and musicians, including members of the Seattle Seahawks, Tennessee Titans, Def Leppard, Heart, Tool, The Grateful Dead, Iron Maiden, Scorpions, Journey, Foreigner, Santana, Pink, and Korn, as well as public figures such as Mike O'Hearn and Dr. Laura Schlessinger. He has served as team chiropractor for professional soccer and arena football, as well as for the Emerald Cup Pro Body Building and AAU Powerlifting competitions. Medsker has appeared on more than 75 television programs, commercials, and radio talk shows. He has hosted the TV show "ClubTV after Saturday Night Live," "The Rockndoc Show" on Renegade Radio, and "The Experts" for Discovery Health, and owns Rockndoc Recording Studio.

Medsker developed the "S.E.T. Program" (Stretch, Exercise & Traction) to address the challenges faced by touring musicians in maintaining postural health. This program, designed for use on tour buses and in hotel rooms, is featured in his book "How to Adjust Yourself and Avoid Seeing a Chiropractor," which achieved bestseller status on Amazon. His subsequent book, "The Posture ReS.E.T. Program," accompanied the launch of his product line, the ROCKnBOX. Medsker's third book, a 12-volume procedure manual titled "The KAIRO Healing Technique," promotes a multidisciplinary approach to healing. He has contributed articles to various publications, including Fortune Magazine.

As a musician, Medsker has recorded with more than 25 artists, including Foreigner, Heart, and Queensryche. His band, RocknDoc and the Back Bones, has been recognized as the top Christian rock band in Seattle for eight years. He performed during the Winter Olympics and has served as emcee for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and as a speaker for the Operating Room Nurses Association. Medsker received a proclamation from the Mayor of Bellevue for his work in educating youth on health, safety, and environmental awareness. He is frequently invited as a keynote speaker on topics such as health and wellness, ergonomics, fitness, and the therapeutic impact of music.
