Dr. Michael L. Brown

Dr. Michael L. Brown is an American theologian, author, radio host, and Messianic Jewish apologist. Brown's personal history, which includes overcoming heroin and LSD addiction as a teenager, informs his public ministry focused on repentance, revival, and cultural engagement grounded in Scripture. Following his conversion, Brown shifted from drug use to studying Old Testament scriptures and the Hebrew language, equipping himself for theological discussions with Jewish rabbis and peers. This pursuit led him to earn a Ph.D. in Near Eastern Languages and Literatures from New York University.

Brown is the author of more than 40 books, including "Our Hands Are Stained with Blood: The Tragic Story of the 'Church' and the Jewish People," which has been translated into more than 12 languages, the five-volume series "Answering Jewish Objections to Jesus," commentaries on Jeremiah and Job, and over 10 books on revival and the Jesus movement. His work addresses Jewish-Christian relations, biblical scholarship, and apologetics, systematically engaging with traditional Jewish counterarguments to Jesus' messiahship using rabbinic sources, Dead Sea Scrolls, and Second Temple literature.
