Dr. Karen Hills Pruden

Dr. Karen Hills Pruden is a leadership strategist, executive coach, and award-winning author specializing in advancing women into senior leadership roles. As founder of Pruden Global Business Solutions Consulting, LLC, Pruden has developed trademarked frameworks that support organizational change and leadership development across industries including operations, human resource management, tax, retail, nonprofit, museums, and higher education. As a Certified Diversity Executive, she focuses on strategies that help women secure executive positions.

Pruden’s professional journey informs her approach to leadership development. After experiencing challenges in advancing beyond middle management, she leveraged mentorship to attain a senior leadership role, an experience that inspired her proprietary "Amplify Your Value" (AYV) framework. This framework is designed to help leaders overcome stagnation and achieve greater influence and impact in their careers.

Pruden has authored and co-authored more than 30 books, including "Pruden Principles: 10 Strategies to Propel Women to the C-Suite" and "Amplify Your Value: A Playbook to Business Domination & Sustainability." She launched Boss, Brand & Business TV and hosts the international program "Leadership Is Served." Pruden also appeared in the docuseries "The Making of An Entrepreneur."

As a C-Suite career strategist and speaker, Pruden has presented at conferences for organizations such as the American Council of Education and Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, and has shared the stage with business leaders including Les Brown, Lisa Nichols, and Dr. George Fraser. She is a graduate of the Women's Leadership program at Yale and the Women's Entrepreneurship program at Cornell. Pruden serves as Chief Human Resource Officer at a Virginia university and is the founder of the Sister Leaders Conference.
