Dr. Jan Pol, known globally as the star of Nat Geo WILD’s hit show "The Incredible Dr. Pol," is a charismatic and dedicated veterinarian whose career spans over five decades. Born and raised on a dairy farm in the Netherlands, he discovered his calling at age twelve while helping deliver piglets. After graduating from Utrecht University’s prestigious veterinary program, he moved to the U.S., where he began his career in rural Michigan. In 1981, he and his wife Diane founded Pol Veterinary Services out of their garage in Weidman, Michigan, which has since grown into a thriving practice with over 25,000 clients.
