Dr. Erkeda DeRouen is a triple-board certified physician recognized for her contributions to digital health innovation. DeRouen began her education at Hampton University before attending Boston University School of Medicine and completing her Family Medicine Residency at University of Maryland. Her expertise encompasses health equity, care for underserved populations, HIV prevention, transgender care, and lifestyle medicine, reflecting a broad understanding of healthcare delivery and digital transformation.

DeRouen serves as a physician executive leader in digital health, working as a digital health risk management consultant and as CEO and principal consultant at Digital Risk Compliance Solutions. In these roles, she assists organizations in navigating digital health risk management, providing strategic guidance, patient-centric solutions, and training for healthcare professionals to uphold industry standards. Her experience includes scaling businesses, collaborating with founders of high-growth companies, and contributing to the development of technologies valued at $100 million. DeRouen also holds the position of chief medical officer at Emme, a women's health startup.

As a published author, DeRouen wrote "Risk-Proofing Digital Health," a guide focused on compliance and quality in health technology. She is a two-time best-selling co-author and delivered the TEDx talk "Did Disney Just Save Healthcare?
