Dr. Edward H Frazelle

Dr. Edward H. Frazelle is a recognized authority in supply chain strategy, operations, and technology. Frazelle is the founder, president, and CEO of RightChain, and previously established The Logistics Institute and Supply Chain Management Series at Georgia Tech, which became significant centers for supply chain research and education. Frazelle holds a doctorate from Georgia Tech and master's and bachelor's of science degrees from North Carolina State University.

Frazelle is the inventor of RightChain, a model, methodology, and toolkit that guides supply chains for major global corporations. He developed the RightChain Methodology and co-developed RightChain's Supply Chain Optimization as a Service (SCOaaS) solution, which support supply chain decision-making and execution for companies such as BP, Carrier, Coca-Cola, Disney, General Mills, Honda, Kraft Heinz, and Pratt & Whitney. RightChain projects have contributed to more than $5 billion in EBIT increase for clients.

As an author, Frazelle has contributed to the field of logistics through his writing. He is the author of McGraw-Hill's "Logistics Management Series" library of books on supply chain strategy, optimization, and operations, including "Supply Chain Strategy," "Inventory Strategy," and "World-Class Warehousing," with additional titles such as "Supply Chain Artificial Intelligence" and "The Language of Logistics." His books are available in seven languages, including Chinese, English, French, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.

As an educator, Frazelle has trained more than 100,000 professionals in logistics principles, assisted more than 100 corporations and government agencies across North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa in developing supply chains, and lectured at institutions including Cornell, Northwestern, University of Wisconsin, Waseda University, Kyushu Institute of Technology, and National University of Singapore. He received Georgia Tech's Outstanding Professional Educator recognition.

Frazelle's work has been acknowledged by the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, the Warehousing Education and Research Council, the Material Handling Institute, and the Institute of Industrial Engineers' Armstrong Award, as well as Kodak's Educational Grant and the General Motors Scholar Award. He is a former president of the International Material Management Society and serves on the board of directors for the Warehousing Education & Research Council. Frazelle's background includes academic research, consulting, and measurable results in global supply chain management.
