Dr. Angela Sharma

With 23 years of NHS clinical experience, Dr. Angela Sharma delivers clear, evidence-based guidance on menopause, hormonal health, and wider wellbeing at work. Dr. Sharma has worked as a GP in London for over two decades and leads a specialist menopause service within her NHS practice. She completed advanced training in menopause care at King’s College Hospital and continues to contribute to national education initiatives through the British Menopause Society, where she serves on the medical advisory board.

Her clinical background spans women’s health, contraception, fertility, and chronic disease management, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, and dementia. Alongside her NHS work, Dr. Sharma is the co-founder of Spiced Pear Health, an online clinic focused on menopause, sexual health, and hormonal wellbeing. She is a Fellow of the European Committee of Sexual Medicine and is trained in psychosexual therapy. Dr. Sharma also serves as a trustee and advisory board member for the Menstrual Health Project, a charity that educates and empowers women on all aspects of menstrual health.

Dr. Sharma regularly collaborates with organizations through talks, webinars, and workshops covering women’s health, menopause, endometriosis, prostate cancer, men’s health, and the wider realities of managing health conditions at work. She volunteers with Maggie’s cancer support centers, delivering workshops on prostate cancer and menopause and intimacy after cancer. Drawing on her extensive experience, Dr. Sharma translates complex medical issues into practical guidance that helps organizations better support employees throughout different stages of their health and working lives.
