Doug Gottlieb

Doug Gottlieb, a former professional basketball player and sports radio personality, has a distinguished career in both sports and broadcasting. With his roots in NCAA collegiate basketball, Gottlieb twice led the nation in assists and helped Oklahoma State reach the Elite 8 in the NCAA Tournament in 2000. His professional basketball career spans multiple countries, including France, Israel, and Russia, and includes leading the USBL in assists. In addition to his athletic prowess, Gottlieb has also demonstrated his leadership skills as the head men's basketball coach at the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, a position he has held since 2024.

In the broadcasting realm, Gottlieb has made significant contributions to sports commentary across various esteemed platforms. He worked with ESPN and CBS Sports, transitioning to CBS in 2012 where he was part of the launch of the late-night show "Lead Off." From April 2017 to December 2025, Gottlieb hosted his daily radio show "The Doug Gottlieb Show" on Fox Sports and served as a substitute host on FS1's "The Herd with Colin Cowherd." His contributions to sports commentary extend beyond basketball, as he has also had a career as an NFL announcer. He hosts the podcast "All Ball with Doug Gottlieb".

Off the court and outside the studio, Gottlieb has been active in various leadership and philanthropic roles. He was inducted into the Southern California Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 2011 and is a member of the Oklahoma State University Foundation Board of Governors. Gottlieb also served as a national spokesman for the American Cancer Society in 2016. As a testament to his coaching acumen, Gottlieb helped coach the United States team at the 2009 and 2017 Maccabiah Games, winning a gold medal as a coach in 2017.
