Dot Bustelo

Dot Bustelo is an entrepreneur, inventor, and creative technology executive whose career spans music, media, artificial intelligence, and digital content platforms. A former member of Apple's Worldwide Logic Pro, GarageBand, Artist Relations, Sales, and Product Marketing teams, she spent a decade helping shape creative technology products while building relationships with artists, producers, studios, labels, and educators globally.

Bustelo is the founder and former CEO of Loupe Art, a digital art streaming platform distributed across 14 global Smart TV and connected TV platforms. Under her leadership, Loupe scaled to 3 million users worldwide, became the #1 Lifestyle app on Apple TV in 79 countries, and developed a commercial licensing business serving hospitality and commercial display environments. She negotiated and managed relationships with more than 1,000 artists while leading product, partnerships, distribution, and monetization strategy. Loupe was acquired by Stingray Group in 2024.

As part of Loupe's growth, Bustelo became co-inventor of three patents related to AI-driven personalization and content recommendation systems. Her work has expanded into artificial intelligence, creator rights, training data licensing, and emerging participation models for creative industries. Most recently, she led partnerships and market development initiatives for AI-native creative technology companies, including Beatoven.AI, a music platform built on fully licensed training data, where she worked across rights holders, licensing, enterprise partnerships, and market strategy.

Alongside her work in creator technology, Bustelo built a career as an electronic music producer and engineer, producing and licensing music for television, gaming, and commercial releases in the U.S. and Europe. She is also the author of the Amazon bestselling book "The Power of Logic Pro" and developed educational programs focused on music production and creator tools for LinkedIn Learning.

Bustelo served two terms as a Governor of the Recording Academy's Atlanta Chapter and on the Advisory Committee of its National Producer & Engineering Wing. An Emmy Award-winning audio engineer and frequent speaker on technology, media, and creativity, she has presented at SXSW, London Tech Week, Streaming Media West, Digital Entertainment World, NAMM, SAE, MMF-USA, King's College London, Miami MusicTech, and other industry events.

Today, Bustelo advises technology companies, media platforms, and creative organizations on growth strategy, partnerships, licensing, training data strategy, creator ecosystems, and AI-driven innovation. Her perspective combines hands-on experience building venture-backed companies, scaling digital platforms, navigating major technology shifts, and helping creators thrive in an increasingly abundant digital economy.
