Donnie Yen is a globally acclaimed actor, martial artist, and action choreographer best known for portraying the legendary Wing Chun master in the "Ip Man" franchise. Widely regarded as one of Asia’s biggest action stars, Yen is credited with helping popularize Wing Chun internationally and is often mentioned alongside martial arts icons Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and Jet Li.
Raised in a martial arts family, Yen trained in tai chi and traditional Chinese martial arts under his mother, a renowned grandmaster.
