Dinosaur Jr.

Dinosaur Jr. is an iconic American alternative rock band formed in 1984 in Amherst, Massachusetts. Widely regarded as one of the most influential groups in independent rock history, Dinosaur Jr. helped lay the foundation for the alternative rock explosion of the 1990s, bridging the gap between the intensity of 1980s hardcore punk and the melodic, guitar-driven sound later embraced by bands such as Nirvana and Radiohead.
