Diego Klattenhoff is a Canadian actor known for his work in American television and film. He moved to Toronto at age 19 to pursue an acting career, supporting himself as a bartender while studying in theater workshops. Klattenhoff trained with acting coaches David Rotenberg, Bruce Clayton and Rae Ellen Bodie, building a foundation for a career characterized by versatility across drama, science fiction and thriller genres.

Klattenhoff's first notable film role was in "Mean Girls," followed by appearances in television series such as "Smallville" and "Stargate SG-1," and the film "Lucky Number Slevin." He worked in both American and Canadian productions before being cast as Marine Captain Mike Faber in "Homeland" on Showtime, a role that marked his first collaboration with producers Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa. Klattenhoff received a Screen Actors Guild nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for his work on "Homeland."

His film credits include roles in "After Earth" and "Pacific Rim."
