Dianne Bondy

Dianne Bondy is a social justice activist, author, accessible yoga teacher, and the driving force behind the Yoga For All movement. Bondy's approach to yoga emphasizes accessibility, encouraging individuals of all shapes, sizes, ethnicities, and abilities to participate in yoga practice. A former accountant who transitioned to social justice advocacy, Bondy leveraged her financial background and entrepreneurial skills to open a studio in Windsor-Essex, where she taught yoga and fitness classes centered on accessibility and body positivity. With more than 1,000 hours of training in modalities such as yoga therapeutics, restorative yoga, meditation, and Anusara Yoga, Bondy has developed a practice grounded in technical expertise and inclusivity.

Bondy's advocacy for inclusivity gained momentum after her blog post, Yoga Isn't Just for Skinny White Women, went viral on Elephant Journal, leading to a regular column and establishing her as a prominent voice in accessible yoga. She educates yoga instructors globally on creating welcoming and safe environments for all practitioners through her Yoga for All training program. Her social media presence integrates personal insight with activism, using yoga as a platform to address systemic inequities and promote self-acceptance.

Bondy is the author of the book "Yoga for Everyone" and co-author of "Yoga Where You Are." She is a frequent contributor to Yoga International, DoYou, Yoga Girl, and Omstars. Her writing appears in the books "Yoga and Body Image," "Yoga Rising," and "Yes! Yoga Has Curves." Bondy also hosts "The Intentional Well-being Podcast," reaching audiences interested in mindful and inclusive living.
