Dianna Cowern is the creator and host of the viral “PhysicsGirl” web series, which is about to pass 2 Million Subscribers. PhysicsGirls is a resource for fun, educational and mind-blowing videos that adventure into the physical sciences with experiments, demonstrations, and cool new discoveries. Her videos have over 140 million views. Her show has featured the legendary Rodney Mullen, Bill Nye, and Anne Wojcicki – founderof 23 and me, and other science and STEM influencers.

Cowern has been widely recognized internationally by the science, STEM, and educational community, including in 2019 when she was named to FORBES 30 under 30 List. She has also been featured in Science Magazine, Popular Science, Washington Post, U.S. News & World Report, Space.com, NBC, Vogue, HuffPost, Nerdist, MIT News, and many more.

Cowern researched dark matter with Prof. Jocelyn Monroe as an undergraduate at MIT, and low-metallicity stars with Prof. Anna Frebel as a post-baccalaureate research fellow at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, before bringing her happy intern pants to GE where she worked as a Software Engineer designing mobile apps.
