Derek Kraus

Derek Kraus is an American professional stock car racing driver known for his progression through motorsports and adaptability across multiple NASCAR series. Kraus began his career in go-karts and bandoleros, capturing championships at a young age and becoming the youngest feature winner at Rockford Speedway. His early achievements in the Midwest Truck Series and ARCA Midwest Tour provided a foundation for his transition to national competition, where he earned the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West Rookie of the Year honor and later secured the series championship.

Kraus has competed full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, delivering multiple top-10 finishes and demonstrating competitiveness against experienced drivers. He has also made part-time appearances in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and the NASCAR Cup Series, including starts with NY Racing Team. Kraus has contributed as a simulator driver for Kaulig Racing and remains active in short-track racing, joining the ASA STARS National Tour Platinum Program with DMK Racing LLC.
