Denise Dresser

Denise Dresser is a technology executive with more than two decades of experience leading business transformation at major enterprise software companies. Dresser began her career at Oracle and Arthur Andersen, where she developed a foundation in sales leadership that shaped her trajectory in the enterprise technology sector.

Dresser spent over 14 years at Salesforce, where she served as president of Accelerated Industries Sales. In this role, she led distribution and go-to-market strategy for strategic accounts and cloud solutions, focusing on enterprise sales and customer success. Dresser was later appointed CEO of Slack, becoming the third chief executive of the Salesforce unit following its acquisition. As CEO, she guided Slack through its integration with Salesforce and led the development of artificial intelligence tools within the platform, positioning Slack as a hub for AI-powered productivity in the workplace.

Following her tenure at Slack, Dresser was appointed chief revenue officer at OpenAI. In this capacity, she oversaw global revenue strategy, enterprise sales, and customer success, playing a central role in expanding OpenAI's commercial operations and strengthening relationships with major customers in the artificial intelligence market. Dresser's leadership contributed to building the operational foundation necessary for OpenAI's growth in the enterprise AI sector.

In addition to her executive roles, Dresser has served on the Ad Council's board of directors and as executive sponsor for ALSForce, a Salesforce equality group focused on raising awareness about ALS.
