Denim Richards

Denim Richards, known for his role as 'Colby Mayfield' in the acclaimed series "Yellowstone," has an extensive portfolio in the entertainment industry. With over two decades of experience and more than 40 credits spanning stage, TV, and film, Richards has cemented his place not only as an actor but also as a leader in the industry. He is the co-founder and CEO of Opulent Entertainment Group, a company that is making waves in African entertainment, with expansion plans into Tanzania, Zambia, Namibia, Malawi, South Africa, Rwanda, and Kenya.

Richards has been a prominent voice, advocating for original African stories to be told through the lens of African people for global audiences. In line with this, he brokered a partnership with Zambian production company Kazadi Films. His influence extends to education, where he hosted a masterclass on "Understanding the Business of Entertainment" at the University of Botswana. The masterclass attracted over 1300 participants, demonstrating his capacity to engage and inspire large audiences. Furthermore, he created Mosadi Khumo, a platform dedicated to African women in the creative industry.

In addition to his acting and entrepreneurial pursuits, Richards is an accomplished public speaker. He has been a keynote speaker at significant events such as the 2023 US/Africa Summit in Botswana and the 2023 MIP Africa FAME Week. He has also given a presentation at the 2023 FNB Botswana Budget Review, spoke at the Forbes 2023 30 Under 30 in Gaborone, Botswana, and moderated "Diaspora Day" at CANNEX in Cairo, Egypt.
