Debby Ryan

Debby Ryan is an American actress and singer-songwriter known for her work in television, film, and music. Ryan began her professional acting career onstage at age 7 and was discovered during Disney Channel's nationwide talent search. She appeared in the film "Barney: Let's Go to the Firehouse" and the MGM feature "The Longshots" with Keke Palmer and Ice Cube. Ryan gained widespread recognition for her role as Bailey Pickett on the Disney Channel series "The Suite Life on Deck," which became one of the most watched children's shows on television.

Following her success on "The Suite Life on Deck," Ryan starred in the title role of "Jessie," a series about a young woman who moves from Texas to New York City and becomes a nanny for a family with four children. She contributed to the creation of the series and directed the episode "Coffee Talk," becoming the youngest female director for a Disney Channel production. Ryan's performance in "Jessie" earned her nominations at the Kids' Choice Awards and Teen Choice Awards. She also starred in "16 Wishes," which was a top-rated cable program at the time of its premiere, and in "Radio Rebel," where she played Tara Adams and contributed music to the soundtrack.
