Dasilva was appointed Executive Chair of Lightspeed’s board of directors on February 2nd, 2022. Prior to that, he led the company’s operations as Chief Executive Officer. As Executive Chair, Dasilva works with the CEO and the Board to set the strategic direction of the Company, with a focus on furthering Lightspeed’s business advocacy and global sustainability initiatives through stakeholder outreach, customer advocacy, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
