David Tamasi

David Tamasi is a Washington public affairs executive and a recognized Republican Party fundraiser and lobbyist. Tamasi is a founding partner and managing director of Chartwell Strategy Group, a Washington-based government relations and strategic communications firm. In this capacity, he advises CEOs, trade association leaders, and global officials on legislative, geopolitical, and reputation risk issues.

Tamasi has worked on domestic and international public policy matters, including energy, financial services, foreign investment, tax reform, telecommunications, and trade. He has served on presidential, congressional, and gubernatorial national finance committees, participating in four presidential campaign cycles. Tamasi was the finance chair for the Trump Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee between the Trump campaign and the Republican Party. He has bundled more than $500,000 for the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee and was appointed to the President's Cultural Property Advisory Committee. Tamasi is also a registered foreign agent for Georgia and Kosovo.

Earlier in his career, Tamasi worked as a Washington correspondent for Lawrence Eagle-Tribune and The Falmouth Enterprise. He began his professional journey in the Massachusetts Legislature and at the law firm Todd & Weld. He later managed the Washington office of a national public affairs firm, overseeing all aspects of the firm's operations, and previously worked at Ogilvy Public Relations, providing strategic communications services to corporations.

Tamasi holds a bachelor's degree from Gettysburg College and a master's degree in journalism from Boston University. He has been featured in Politico as a Power Player and is listed by The Hill as a Top Lobbyist. Tamasi frequently appears in national and international media, offering political analysis on government relations, political strategy, and public affairs. He is a member of the Cultural Property Advisory Committee and has served on the board of the ALS Association DC/MD/VA Chapter.
