David P. Tusa is an executive with expertise in healthcare services, environmental compliance, and corporate strategy. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston and is a Certified Public Accountant with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. Tusa has demonstrated a consistent ability to drive growth and operational efficiency across both privately held and publicly traded organizations, establishing a reputation in healthcare management and business leadership.

Tusa's tenure at Sharps Compliance Corp., a NASDAQ-listed company, marked a significant period in his career. He joined Sharps Compliance as chief financial officer after advising the Board of Directors and was later promoted to president and chief executive officer. Under his leadership, the company became a leading provider of medical and pharmaceutical waste management services to small- and medium-quantity generators, including healthcare and retail organizations. Tusa contributed to the expansion and diversification of the company's business model, growing route-based and unused medications disposal offerings alongside its mail-back solution.

Prior to Sharps Compliance, Tusa held financial leadership roles across various industries. He served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of U.S. Legal Support, a litigation support services provider, and as senior vice president and chief financial officer of Serv-Tech, a publicly held specialty services company for industrial customers. He also held executive roles at New Century Equity Holdings Corp. and served as a senior manager at KPMG LLP. This experience provided Tusa with a broad perspective on business transformation and operational strategy.

After leaving Sharps Compliance, Tusa continued his executive career as president and chief executive officer of MD Home Health, where he guided the organization’s transition from a traditional home health agency to a comprehensive healthcare service provider. The expanded services included home healthcare, remote patient monitoring, in-clinic care, telehealth, and hospice services. He also founded Tusa Advisors, through which he offers strategic advisory services in healthcare and business operations.
