David Guetta

David Guetta is a Grammy Award-winning DJ and music producer. With over 10 billion streams, he is one of most globally recognized music producers in the world. Billboard crowned his hit single, “When Love Takes Over,” as the number one dance-pop collaboration of all time, and his work has earned two Grammys, an American Music Award, and a Billboard Music Award.

Guetta’s first big hit single was “Just a Little More Love” featuring Chris Willis. Later, he released his debut album Just a Little More Love, selling over 300,000 copies worldwide. A couple of years later, he released his second studio album Guetta Blaster, which was led with four singles. His third album, Pop Album, found major success in Europe with 530,000 copies sold worldwide. The lead single from the album, “Love is Gone,” reached No. 1 on the American Dance Charts.

Guetta's first international breakthrough was with the release of his fourth studio album, One Love. Featuring Kelly Rowland, its first single, “When Love Takes Over,” topped charts in Europe, selling over 5.5 million copies worldwide. Followed by four more highly successful singles with features from Akon, Kid Cudi, Fergie and LMFAO, the album has sold more than three million copies and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Electronic/Dance Album.

Guetta went on to produce The Black Eyed Peas’ globally successful hit single “I Gotta Feeling,” which became the most downloaded song of all-time in the United States. His success earned him two Grammy nominations for Record of the Year and Album of the Year. That same year, he won his first Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical for his remix of “When Love Takes Over.” The following year, he won his second Grammy for his remix of “Revolver” featuring Afrojack.

Guetta then released his fifth studio album Nothing but the Beat. Influenced by rock bands, he put out hit singles “Where Them Girls At” with Flo Rida and Nicki Minaj as well as “Little Bad Girl” and “Without You” featuring Usher. A biographical documentary titled "Nothing But the Beat" depicts Guetta’s rise to fame and features many of his collaborators including Kelly Rowland, will.i.am and Snoop Dogg. Adding to his large list of superstar collaborators, Guetta also wrote, produced, and featured on Rihanna’s seventh studio album Unapologetic and toured with her on the European leg of her Diamonds World Tour.

Listen was Guetta’s sixth studio album and featured singles “Lovers on the Sun,” “Dangerous,” “What I Did for Love” and “Hey Mama” featuring Nicki Minaj and Bebe Rexha. “Hey Mama” reached the top ten in the U.S. and UK, and soon after, Guetta became the third artist to reach over 2 billion streams on Spotify. That same year, he became the music ambassador for the Union of European Football Associations, releasing the official song of the tournament, “This One’s for You” with Zara Larsson. He performed during the opening and closing ceremonies of the tournament.

Guetta then went on to release a number of collaborations with global pop stars including “Light My Body Up” with Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne, “2U” with Justin Bieber, and a remixed version of Bruno Mars’ “Versace on the Floor.” That summer, he headlined Tomorrowland and premiered three new singles. One year later, he released his highly anticipated seventh studio album, titled 7.

During the pandemic, Guetta reunited with Sia to release the single “Let’s Love” which topped global charts and picked up over 100 million video plays and streams. The duo’s biggest hit was “Titanium,” which has over 1 billion streams. Guetta also hosted a livestream performance during the pandemic which garnered over 25 million views to raise money for the World Health Organization, Feeding South Florida, Feeding America, and the French Foundation Hopitaux de Paris. His second and third virtual performances were a part of his “United At Home” concerts in Miami and New York City, raising over half a million dollars at each performance to crowds of millions.

Recently, Guetta partnered with Armin van Buuren to release the highly anticipated track "In The Dark," which premiered during his renowned Ushuaïa Ibiza residency. This collaboration showcases his continued innovation in the electronic music scene. Additionally, Guetta joined forces with Sophie Ellis-Bextor to remix the iconic track "Murder on the Dancefloor" and reimagined "Perfect (Exceeder)" by Mason and Princess Superstar. Recognized as DJ Mag's No.1 DJ in 2023, Guetta continues to produce electronic music and bring powerful influence to the industry.
