David Coleman Biography
David Coleman is president and CEO of the College Board. In 2007, he co-founded Student Achievement Partners, which played a leading role in developing the Common Core State Standards in math and literacy. Coleman previously co-founded the Grow Network, worked at McKinsey and Company, and during college at Yale started Branch, a program that worked with inner-city New Haven high school students. Coleman was named to the 2013 Time 100, was a 2012 NewSchools Venture Fund Change Agent of the Year, was recognized as one of TIME’s11 Education Activists for 2011, and was a Rhodes scholar.
