David Blough

David Blough's journey in the world of football began at Purdue University, where he played as a starting quarterback from 2015 to 2018. During his time there, he made headlines with his record-setting performances. He set a Purdue University record with 572 passing yards and a Big Ten record with 590 total yards in a game against Missouri in 2018. This feat earned him the title of Big Ten offensive player of the week. His college football career culminated with the honor of being awarded Third-team All-Big Ten in 2018.

After his college career, Blough transitioned to the National Football League (NFL) as an undrafted free agent signed by the Cleveland Browns in 2019. He was then traded to the Detroit Lions, where he made his NFL debut on Thanksgiving Day against the Chicago Bears in the same year. Blough's NFL career also included stints with the Arizona Cardinals, where he served as the starting quarterback in 2022, and the Detroit Lions. His first NFL completion was an impressive 75-yard touchdown.

In 2024, Blough moved into a coaching role with the Washington Commanders as an assistant quarterbacks coach. He served as the interim quarterbacks coach for the final four games of the 2025 season and was promoted to offensive coordinator in January 2026.
